This may be the best place to discuss the apparent differences in templates that have been developed since the English en:Wikipedia:Babel page was last updated.

Discussion on the English page said that Japanese had devised a time-saving improvement; I noticed that one of my other WPs had some simplifications, allowing the user to type less than was originally required; and even the English page seems to have simplified since I copied it for mi:Wikipedia:Babel.

It could be wise not to rush into applying all possible templates to user-pages here for a while until the system gets very close to perfection. It's not as if there are so many registered users here that a visitor would take a long time to find whether there was a registered user who understood his or her language!
